For the 22th time De Lambikstoempers organize their yearly BEER WEEKEND. This twentysecond edition traditionally takes place on the last weekend of august, at the Beer Centre “De Lambiek” in Alsemberg (Beersel).
Saturday 27th of August from 2 pm until 12 pm and sunday 28th of August from 2 pm until 8 pm.
+100 different beers
As in previous years we have tackled the hold, our visitors can choose from more than 100 different beers, including some 80 lambic beers and a nice selection of 20 new and/or special Belgian beers that are less or not (yet) known to the general public. The past year has been one of many novelties. After all, the beer landscape is constantly changing.
We have tried to get together as many different types of beer as possible, to be tasted in 15cl tasting glasses, at very democratic prices. (That way you can taste a lot.) 🙂 Obviously we will serve a wide range of Lambic beers (from the basic brew Lambic to Oude Gueuze, Oude Kriek and other fruit beers). These beers are supplied (for the most part) by the “Streekproducten Centrum Halle” and “Het Huis van de Geuze”. A few exclusive ones here too, so come and discover them at our Beer Weekend!
These 100 beers are just a small selection of Belgian beers, Belgium really is the land of beers. You could say that every visitor will find a Belgian beer that will appeal to him / her (from sweet fruity through bitter and acid).
Lambèreke
On 29 May 2023, De Lambikstoempers vzw suddenly had to say goodbye to its managing member Robert ‘Bèreke’ Mollaert. At the farewell ceremony in De Meent, we raised a glass of Gueuze together as a last salute. We will also miss ‘den Bère’ on our Beer Weekend, which is why we decided to once again macerate (a small quantity of) raspberries on lambic from 3 Fonteinen, under the name….. ‘Lambèreke’.
This is a variation on our ‘Lambooske’, a creation den Bère was ‘crazy about’. For the first visitors to taste… as a sincere tribute!

Hungry? Don’t panic, on our Beer Weekend you can also buy some tasty snacks: a freshly prepared croque monsieur, a tasty meatball and/or a portion of cheese/salami/mix.
A real succes for the visitors is the Beer tombola: for only a small contribution you have the oppotunity to go home with a nice beer price.
Even the little ones are more than welcome to our Beer Weekend! While you taste, your children can enjoy themselves with our big coloring contest or while playing on the bouncy castle. They themselves can naturally taste our different juices, lemonades or water. Coffee is also available.
