What do beer and whisky have in common? Zythologist Yannick de Cocquéau explained us the differences and similarities between beer and whiskey on Friday 21th of September 2018. And of course we tasted beer – whether or not enriched with (an infusion of) whisky – and whisky. Yes, we even blended it ourselves! In short: another separate but very successful / pleasant / interesting test evening! 😉

You were once again great at the 19th edition of our Lambikstoempers Beer Weekend. Thank you for coming, your warm heart for spontaneous and other beers and the cozy atmosphere! Thanks you also to Streekproducten Centrum Halle, Bezoekerscentrum ‘De Lambiek’, Gemeente Beersel, BumpFun, Benny’s Pigdelicious and Ouderraad Basisschool Huizingen. Hopefully we will see each other again next year (or earlier?)… Appointment on 24-25 August 2019 for our next edition!

Lambikstoempers Diner + LBBR 2018

For our annual dinner we went to Taverne Saint Gery in the picturesque Aubechies, on Saturday 18 August 2018. But before we put our feet under the table, there was first a lot of cycling and walking! The very first Lambikstoempers’ Brewery Bike Ride (LBBR) was driven. And as an alternative program there was the possibility to have a walk. A success for all sports enthusiasts … and Burgundians afterwards. 😉
