Visit to brewery Bosteels

On Saturday 15 October 2016 at 13.45 at Brewery Bosteels, Kerkstraat 96 at 9255 Buggenhout.

On 26 Mai 2007 we already tried to visit this brewery but once there the brewery itself was, despite earlier agreements, off limits. this is now talked through and almost 10 years later we’ll find ourselves back at the gate of the brewery. We will be guided in the brewery where we will get the necessary information about the creation of the beers of Bosteels. After a tour we will watch a movie about the history of the brewery and about the fabrication process of the beer DeuS.

And of course we taste their beers! The Tripel Karmeliet, Pauwel Kwak and DeuS are already cooled …

After this degustation you will have the opportunity to  purchase any gift or promotional items.

Everyone can come and taste more than 50 Lambic beers of every brewery and blender from the region. Among them also some “special ones”, like Blossom Geuze of Lindemans, Sourblend of Oud Beersel, Vat 79 of Boon and Experimental Raspberry of Hanssens, and finally 3 Lambic’s from the barrel.

There is also animation for the children.

Oktoberfest

Subsequently – from 18.00 on – Boelekewis is transformed into a real Oktoberfest with live muziek from Die Gipfelfreunde and until  3.00 a party with the Dutch party-dj: DJ Roooy. The thirsty can feast on 1-liter beer glasses. Schol!

For the people who want to enjoy all the fun, but don’t like beer, there is also a cava-bar. All this takes place in the restaurant, outside there is a food stand with stew with Geuze, rabbit with Kriek and other goodies. The entrance is completely free, for “Zot van Geuze!” a s well as for the Oktoberfest. So be sure to come!
