For the 16th time De Lambikstoempers organize their yearly BEER WEEKEND. This sixteenth edition traditionally takes place on the last weekend of august, at the Visitors Centre ‘De Lambiek’ in Alsemberg (Beersel).
Saturday 29th of August from 2 pm until 12 pm and sunday 30th of August from 2 pm until 8 pm.
+100 different beers
As in previous years we have tackled the hold, our visitors can choose from more than 100 different beers. We have tried to gather all the different kinds of beer.

Obviously will serve a range of Lambic beers (from the basic brew Lambic to Oude Gueuze, Oude Kriek and other fruit beers). These beers are supplied by the “Streekproducten Centrum†at Halle. A large number of exceptional beers we personally get at the brewers. These are beers that are not so familiar to the general public.
This year we opted, after the huge success of previous years, again for our own Lambooske, fresh raspberries put on young lambic from Lindemans. You really have to taste it!
   These 100 beers are just a small selection of Belgian beers, Belgium really is the land of beers. You could say that every visitor will find a Belgian beer that will appeal to him / her (from sweet fruity through bitter and acid).
Beers in the spotlight
It’s tradition we put some beers in the spotlight. This year we selected a wide variety of beers from the Pajottenland & Zennevallei/Brussels. Because we are proud to be Pajottenlanders! 😉
 
The hungry ones can buy a local snack at the stand of Geitjesweelde from Gooik (goat cheese, milk ice, pastery, croque monsieur based on goat cheese, pineapple …) or a sandwich provided by the community of Beersel.
A real succes for the visitors is the Beer tombola: for only a small contribution you have the oppotunity to go home with a nice beer price.
Coloring contest: parents can taste at their ease while their children can compete at our coloring contest. They themselves can naturally taste our waters and limonades.
