‘Barrel Aged’ is quite trendy in the beer world at the moment. We found out for you whether this really is an added value, on Saturday 11 June 2022 in room ‘Rainbow’ (Zennedal) in Buizingen, during our tasting ‘Guess the barrel’.
In a cozy setting we tasted 10 beers that have been aged in whiskey, port, calvados, red wine, sherry, genever or rum casks. Of course, as always, we tasted blind.
Also present: a reporter from Radio 2 Vlaams-Brabant, who made a nice report of our tasting for the Monday morning program ‘Start Je Dag’. And yes, even Don Bosco himself saw, heard and tasted(?) that it was – once again – good!
