For the 11th time already De Lambikstoempers vzw and Boelekewis were … Zot van Geuze! (“Crazy about Gueuze!”) 🙂 Time and place of the event: 6 October 2018 (from 2 pm to 6 pm) at Boelekewis in Huizingen. On offer: lots of spontaneous fermentation beers in tasters’ glasses. Old Geuze, Old Kriek, fruit beers based on lambic, lambic from the barrel (from 3 Fonteinen, Den Herberg, Brett-Elle and Oud Beersel!), “Special tasters” and so on. And yes, the sun was there too!

What do beer and whisky have in common? Zythologist Yannick de Cocquéau explained us the differences and similarities between beer and whiskey on Friday 21th of September 2018. And of course we tasted beer – whether or not enriched with (an infusion of) whisky – and whisky. Yes, we even blended it ourselves! In short: another separate but very successful / pleasant / interesting test evening! 😉

You were once again great at the 19th edition of our Lambikstoempers Beer Weekend. Thank you for coming, your warm heart for spontaneous and other beers and the cozy atmosphere! Thanks you also to Streekproducten Centrum Halle, Bezoekerscentrum ‘De Lambiek’, Gemeente Beersel, BumpFun, Benny’s Pigdelicious and Ouderraad Basisschool Huizingen. Hopefully we will see each other again next year (or earlier?)… Appointment on 24-25 August 2019 for our next edition!
