On Saturday 17th of March 2018 we organized a modernistic multi senses taste experience with Sven & Tinne from Where Beer Meets Chocolate and Werner Callebaut from Bierolade. Both for the participants and for the organizers it was a profound test on the taste buds and an investigation into the ideal combinations of offered beers and matching chocolate pearls. On the 22nd of December 2017, the Antwerpse Brouw Compagnie opened in a festive manner. A month later, De Lambikstoempers already visited the brewery! Johan Van Dyck personally guided us and explained the unique process of beer brewing, the history of beer in Antwerp and in the brewery. Of course we tasted the beers afterwards: Seef, Bootjes Bier, Cadix and Nonkel Pater.
