Every year The Lambikstoempers close their working year with a walk through the beautiful countryside of the Pajottenland. This year we went for a hike through Heikruis (Pepingen) and surroundings. On the way we stopped for a fresh beer, a hot dog, a fresh beer, a “Swalleke”, a gin … 🙂

On December 8th 2017, we tasted some Belgian and Dutch beers in a certain beer style. Based on aroma, color, (after)taste and personal assessment, we then chose the best beer within that particular beer style. A real international match! And the winner was … the Netherlands!

On Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th of November 2017 we organized our 12th Day of the Old Geuze, which actually lasts for 2 days, in cooperation with Streekproducten Centrum (Halle). And yes, it was again a successful edition, with on Sunday the presentation of our Gouden Lambikstoemper, which went to the Netherlands this year, more specifically to Foeders in Amsterdam!
