Friday 27th of february 2015 we organized a
tasting of pils beers … and pils beers only. We discovered 10 different ones in total: Bel Pils, Bock Pils, Bockor Pils, Cristal Alken, Jupiler, Manneken Pils, PILS, Primus (pils), Romy Pils et Stella Artois.
Winner of the evening was
PILS, brewed by De Proefbrouwerij (Lochristi) for Cru, a department store of the Colruyt Group. Second best for most of the attendees was
Stella Artois from AB Inbev (Leuven), followed by
Bel Pils from Duvel Moortgat Brewery (Puurs).
